The La Rocca Living Hotel Group is the result of a long history of passion and commitment to hospitality, which is at the heart of a hotel rooted in family ownership: the Boutique-Hotel La Rocca**** in Ronco sopra Ascona. This hotel was taken over by Marcel Krähenmann's parents in 1977 and has been a beacon of warmth and hospitality for decades, thanks to the continuous care and attention of the Krähenmann family.

In 2013, Marcel took over the management of the family business in the second generation, with the strong desire to continue to offer his guests unforgettable experiences and to lead the company successfully into the future. In 2019, he decided to expand the company by taking over the historic Parkhotel Emmaus in Losone near Ascona on lease.

Determined to create an ideal company size and secure jobs for long-term and qualified employees, he took over a third hotel in January 2023: the city hotel Hotel Nessi*** in Locarno, which is also owned by the renowned Nessi family of the same name. This bold step led to the founding of the La Rocca Living Hotel Group, which unites the three hotels into one family under a single management and strategy. This group not only consolidates the position of the three hotels in the market, but also embodies their unwavering commitment to quality hospitality and a unique experience for their guests.
